I think it’s hardest at night

    imanoldman:

When you no longer have the soothing sounds of human life to keep you company. No matter how lonely I get during the day I can always hear the hustle and bustle of humanity around me if I strain my ears hard enough.

However, at 3 in the morning, in the midst of mid-america I find it difficult to hear even the heavy breathing of my sister in the room next door. I find it difficult to hear my heart beat. I find it difficult to hear the cars zooming past in a hurry to arrive at destination no where. Destination paycheck.

And so this is why at 3 in the morning I find it hardest to get past the loneliness. I find it hard to get past the overwhelming humanity within me, despite my best efforts at suppressing it… at suppressing my tears… suppressing my needs.

It’s when you break it down to needs, individual needs, that you discover the true nature of a person.

    I just need human contact.

I know you’re trying to be artistic here… but let’s be honest… any and all heavy breathing is coming from your side of the house! haha
